Langlois, OR - right next to Floras Lake and the Pacific Ocean. Very windy location used by lots of wind surfers and kite boarders. Made for a great test of my WBSF with pole mod against the constant wind - it worked great!

Not sure it qualifies as an "awesome" hang, but it was my first: dispersed camping in the Monongahela National Forest with a DH Raven under a DD 4x4 tarp. File_001 (1).jpg

Beautiful! One of my favorite backpacking area in the country. Were you in Naturalist Basin? Looks like it could possibly be Four Lakes Basin, but I'm going with NB.
Anyway, love that area. Looks like a great trip. Can't beat the scenery!
