I have been trying to plan for cold by reading info from this forum. I did order UQ that I use now. I am afraid I should have ordered for lower temp. I well just have to keep researching this subject
Hang inside and avoid the cold altogether…! There are many threads here that give ideas how to do so!

Cammocker mainly. Naps are next to impossible with children drawn to the hammock... "Dad! Can I sleep in there now?" "Dad! Do you like sleeping in the hammock? Are you asleep now? How about now?" "Want me to swing you? I promise I won't tip over the stand this time" etc. etc.

I have grabbed the occasional nap in spite of distractions, and have spent some nights in it to keep a fussy infant away from an exhausted mother. Still, mainly a cammocker.
You're gonna need a bigger hammock

I am honestly somewhere between a cammocker and a napper... I can't hang at the house because of lack of trees and not having a stand... But i hang every where else I can... Sneak off at work, hang at my moms, just about any where...

full timer going on two years now. My back is happy (which makes me happy), and the kittykats like it. Gave my bed to my sister. The only time I sleep in a bed now is at my boyfriend's (who I'm converting) and in hotels.

In between-er here I always use it camping and while I like being in bed with my wife....sometimes my backs just screams for the hammock. I consider myself lucky because I got my wife to try the hammock once I became obsessed and now I'd consider her an in between-er too She's not quite as obsessed and she still thinks I'm a little crazy but she loves the hammock too
