    Ohio July hang at Zaleski

A little rain made this weekend special for me. It was my first night in my hammock during rain. I stayed high and dry in my HH. We stayed at camp D friday night and C on Saturday.
    Luke just taking it easy.

So many blow downs, it made for lots of good discussion about trail maintenance. Thanks Robb for sharing about the Red River Gorge activities and what some of our the local hiking groups are doing.

Looking forward to next month, hope to see ya.

Had a great time, thanks for the company hikin and hangin guys! The coyotes were out friday night.I completely forgot about my food bag hanging at camp D. Thanks to the kid who ran down to let me know, I did not go hungry. Lke Dave said there were lots of blow downs but we got through them. Always interesting to see what ultralight gear Luke has been workin on. Thanks for the friday hike buddy! Me and Rob recouped at camp C saturday. Took a killer nap and watched the ground dwellers roll in. Camp C has lots of firewood layin around and has a roomier feel to it after the cleanup. I had an excellent nights rest at camp c followed by a dip at Lake Hope. Sorry I missed ya before ya broke camp Rob, thanks for the sit pad!

Man I wish I could have gotten out there. Looks like you had a good time and lucked out getting a little rain. Looking forward to more AGO hangs.

Oh yeah forgot to say glad I could be there with ya for the first drops of rain on your tarp Rob. We had some more rain in the night I noticed when I awoke briefly to the pitter patter. I fell fast asleep again as rain on a tarp has that effect. Thanks for the pics.

I was out at the River Loop Trail/Scenic River Trail east of Marietta on 7/15-7/16. Despite evidence of several blow-downs, the trail itself was clear. It's a farther drive for me, but it's becoming a go-to trail when I test gear, set-ups, etc. b/c I know it's always well maintained.

The only drawback was the lack of water on trail. Despite downpours the night before and rain that day, the creeks were dry.
