hey GP, it was very nice to meet you and all the other HFers, new and old.
i think you picked the perfect group hang for a "kick off", many to come.
even though it was a bit "moist" the weather was perfect.
i'm looking forward to seeing you again.
thanks to RF & HB for inviting us to a great gathering.
also FimB chili was world class and DM is the King of DIYville.
it was super fun and my pal Ranger330 had a great time as well.

Ok, anytime you see Fire in My Bones post that he is bringing food to a hang you should just sign up and drive to it, no matter how far it is! I got to meet a lot of new folks and everyone of them were great. I hiked more then I should, ate more then I should, and laughed more then I should. Thanks to RF and HB for hosting this again. Last time I saw HB he had a backpack on the front, one on the back and he was carrying 2 medium size coolers when he was leaving. I never saw him after that so he may have sunk in the mud.

Yeah...this was a great weekend for sure. Everyone was in high spirits and just out to have alot fun.!
No Lump, I didn't sink too far in the mud, just enough to go over the tops of my shoes!
Big thanks to all for helping out with food and keeping things rolling along smoothly, despite the rain.(tip...always have a couple of bottles of HEET when in wet conditions, and desiring a campfire!)
What else can I say, but a BIG THANK YOU to everyone, for the privelidge to "hang out" with you all.

Had a really great time hanging with you guys and gals this weekend.
