I think the plan is to go West of the cemetery for Friday nite. I have my Rusted moon coffee cup ready.

Right, but there are several small trails that go off the the right. to be sure you should go till you see the graveyard before you take a right turn. it would be even better to get near the cemetery then take your NNE shot from there.

I don't think you will be hearing any frogs at the pond after Thurs nite,,dress and hang for warmth as they are predicting low 30's at nite. Enjoy the hang.

True, you may only hear loud hammocks swinging.
On Friday nite we will PROBABLY be West of the cemetery. Its only five minutes from the cemetery to the pond and only 5 minutes West of the cemetery to that camp site.

This sounds like a plan to me. That spot east of the pond is a pretty good hang site.

"a little Confusing" could easily turn bad for us, at night after a 12 work day with minimal sleep. I need as much detail as possible. In case you folks missed the memo, I'm comically bad at navigation during the day, at night Lord help me!!!

Or we might just see you guys at the cemetery in the morning

I'll be coming in Thursday afternoon. I would gladly hang a few blue chemlights leading to the pond if it would help the folks coming in after dark.

I think most cell phones will work up there on the ridge, too. Anyone who wants it can PM me and maybe all of us should share our numbers, then we can help each other not get lost, etc..

    Weather forcast has changed

Looks like rain Thursday night, Friday for sure and Friday night. Turning cold starting tonight and staying cold the rest of the weekend.

Just so you know, I am considering changing my plans. I don't know for sure if I will but I am contemplating a change.

    Thursday
Partly cloudy. Fog early. High of 79F. Breezy. Winds from the South at 10 to 20 mph.

    Thursday Night
Partly cloudy in the evening, then overcast with a chance of a thunderstorm and a chance of rain. Low of 46F. Winds from the SSW at 5 to 10 mph shifting to the West after midnight. Chance of rain 40%.

    Friday
Overcast with rain. High of 54F. Winds from the SW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 80% with rainfall amounts near 0.2 in. possible.

    Friday Night
Overcast with a chance of rain. Low of 37F. Winds from the North at 5 to 10 mph shifting to the South after midnight. Chance of rain 50% with rainfall amounts near 0.4 in. possible.

    Saturday
Partly cloudy with a chance of rain. High of 55F. Winds from the South at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20%.

    Saturday Night
Partly cloudy. Low of 36F. Winds from the East at 5 to 10 mph shifting to the North after midnight.

    Sunday
Mostly cloudy in the morning, then overcast. High of 50F. Winds from the North at 10 to 15 mph.
Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.
