OK, I'm somewhat confused: we ARE having it behind the cemetery not on Browning hill right?
I don't care where, just want to go to the right place.
When you have a backpack on, no matter where you are, you’re home.
PAIN is INEVITABLE. MISERY is OPTIONAL.

LOL....it's cool Doc.....we are having it at the same place as last year. the Cemetery

Angrysparrow, Thanks for making the change, and also, I'll send you a file showing the shirt prior to production. I do know the hammockfourms.com will be on the sleeve of the shirt. and we are gonna use a pumpkin, and i think the shirt is gonna be orange.

Down here, seymour area, we have gotten some 4 inches of rain in the last 2 weeks. while not enough to overcome the drought, it is some. remember there are 2 ponds close by, and the lake is just 3 to 400 yards from the camp site, so that could be an option. If i remember correctly, Mule, Farmer Ron, and I camped at the ruins last year ( very close by ) and there was a spring in the area.....Mule ? Ron ? do you remember that? or am i dreaming.

If everyone shows up thats posting, should be a good turn out....Scott, ( bonsihiker ) are you going to be there???

Yeah. thanks Doc! I was headed up Browning hill myself

Terrel Ridge to the Cemetery, then left turn to the Ruins or thereabouts?

This area can be accessed from the Patton Cave trail head as well for those interested in a longer slightly more challenging hike, if memory serves correctly?

Easiest to get to from the sycamore loop trail head. But if some people are up for a longer hike, then yes, they can connect from the grubb ridge trail head (Patton cave), then hike east to axom loop, to the sycamore loop, which goes to terrill cemetery. No doubt though, that hike will definitely stretch the legs out.

If a group wants to do something like that, I'd be happy to meet them at a trail head. I've been hiking deam much of the summer.

Count me in as well. Would be nice to camp someplace close to a water source.

Right now I'm 50/50 on this. Jerry, since I can't commit for sure I would be OK without a shirt since you probably want to get an exact count and not waste the money. I really need to get out to a group hang and start meeting some fellow hangers!

Take me off the list, I have a family camp out that same weekend. I will eventually make it to a Hoosier hang.

We just got .125 of a inch tonite for the first time in 3 weeks here straight west of you 50 miles. Sucks! And still have all the fire bans over most of the state. Need lots of rain. I have never seen so many people get so excited with it rains even if its for 5 minutes only. I cut into a 4" dia grapevine with my new hatchet couple days ago,,and not a drop of water or sap came out of it,,then Sunday dug a 2.5' deep hole and planted another 6 x 6 post to hang from in the yard, to get out from underneath my Poplar Trees that are still dripping with honey dew from scale like crazy..and dirt was so dry it just powdered and its yellow clay its that dry.

Hate to be the party pooper, but Monroe County isn't getting any of the wet stuff. We got maybe a 15 minute downpour last week, and that was about it. It's getting pretty bad here; lots of leaves and limbs falling.
