I was just looking through the Halloween Hang pictures from a couple years ago.
MY question is: Would it be worth it to go to Browning Hill instead of just some place on the trail, you know, rather non-discript? I know it would be hard to get there carrying water and all but, hey......What do you think?

    Here are some memories....

My biggest concern with the Nebo Ridge area is the ticks. I was out there in July and I picked 4 off me (not counting the 2 or 3 every five minutes while hiking) and 26 off my dog. Conversely, I didn't have any problem with ticks when I did the sycamore loop by the cemetery in June. That said, if we get a lot of people for this hang, I think there are more hanging setups on browning hill.

I'm in no matter where we go; just thought I'd give an update on what I saw out there this summer.

Thanks for the update. I had heard that same thing too. Permathrin works.

I found out that I will be able to be there the entire time this year.

Sorry to hear that you won't be able to make it Jerry.

Good to hear Ron! If you feel like taking the long way to camp again (wherever we decide to go) just let me know!

Nebo ridge, cemetery, etc. Is OK by me.
When you have a backpack on, no matter where you are, you’re home.
PAIN is INEVITABLE. MISERY is OPTIONAL.

I am hoping you all see this about a different way to hang tarp. I am enjoying working on it.
