    Pictures of Packed Up Tarps

I need some help in choosing a tarp. I'm not too constrained by weight, but a main reason for making the switch to a cottage-made tarp is to save pack space.

Can people post up pictures of their tarps in their stuff sacks? In particular, I'm hoping to take a look at the WL Tadpole and Big Daddy, the AHE Toxaway, and the WB Edge.

I don't think I've got a pick of my Superfly packed up, I have got a large stuff sack for it though as it lets me flatten and form it better in my pack.

I do the same .. I packed and compressed the above just to show the relative size ..

The Noah 12 is huge! I only store mine in it's bag. When I pack it up I just kind of squish it into the spaces in my pack. In the storage bag it measures 23x4x5 inches.

Thanks for the picture. It's not super huge it is just long. A compression sack would probably make that tarp pack smaller.

    OK. From Left to Right:

    Kelty Noah's Tarp 12': 33.7 oz
Terrapin Custom silnylon, 11'x12': 22.3 oz (in snake skins)
    Quart of alcohol (for scale)
    Hammock Gear 4S Cuben: 11': 9.3 oz
