Who Has the Most Hammocks (Bragging Rights)

I thought it would be fun to see who has the most hammocks and what hammocks you have. This way we can brag about what we got and how it is impossible to part ways with it. I will start it off

    1) TTTM Double Hammock
    2) 2 Hammock Bliss Hammocks
    3) WBBB
    4) BMBH
    5) DD Travel
    6) Grand Trunk Nano 7
    7) Lawson BRH
    8) Eureka Chrysalis
    9) BIAS Hammock
    10) UK Hammocks Hammock

That is about it for now but I really want to try the Clark, and Hennessy Hammock.

    P.S.

I review Hammocks now so that is why I have so many, I am not crazy

Let me know what you got

You better hope that Cannibal doesn't see this thread. His gear closet needs an entire wing of a mansion to store.

    Good collection you've got there.

    Cheers

I find this list so intimidating I won't even bother! Nice gear list, BackPackHiker!

You might not have the record for most hammocks, but you could get the record for most hammocks acquired in the shortest amount of time. How long did it take you to acquire all these hammocks?

I have a mere eight hammocks: 1) Hennessy Expedition Asym Zip; 2) BIAS DL; 3) BIAS WWM; and 4) Two Byer Moskito Hammocks. I also have three tablecloth hammocks on order. So I'm not in your league.

I'm not interested in bragging rights since it might turn into a confessional that I would prefer not to post publicly. Of course if I attach ownership to my wife, son, brother, two nephews, and loaners to friends, I’m pretty sure I could creatively get that number down to the low two digits.

Okay, after a quick count of what's in the house, the above parameters get me down into the teens.

    I have had:

    ENO double nest
    Clark NA
    Hennessy Ultralight Explorer (bottom entry)
    DIY gathered end
    Warbonnet Blackbird 1.7dl
    Ticket to the Moon King
    Eureka Chrysalis
    DIY bridge #1
    DIY bridge #2 "the Cloud"
    DIY bridge #3 "Cirrus"
Gifted DIY polyester gathered end (thanks WV)
    DIY bridge #4 "the disappointment"

As I am not a collector and tend to move out items when I find something I like better, I only have my DIY "Cirrus" and WV's gifted polyester GE left. All others sold or donated to the good enabling folks here at HF.

I'm feeling good! Only four commercial hammocks.
    WBBB 1.1 double
    TTTG Original SwitchBack 1.9 double
    And two Grand Trunk Ultralights

DIY hammocks don't count, right? I've sewn through 50 yards of material and just ordered more last weekend, but they don't count. No. They don't count

You kidding me? I love the fact that I'm not the only one with some hammock issues!

I suppose we can use your list as a starting point. You do have a couple that I don't and I don't get many opportunities to say that! I used the strike out to remove them from your list. Also, I won't list the actual number of the same model I have...cause I'm old and can't remember reliably without looking at them while I count.

    Warbonnets: ElDorado, Blackbirds, Travelers and.....
    DD Hammocks: Frontlines, Travel, Camping
Grand Trunk: I think I have 3 or 4 models, can't remember the specific names off the top of my head except for the ATTH and Nano.
    TTTM: Singles, Doubles, King
    JRB: BMBH
    Trek Light: Singles and Doubles
    ENO: Singles and Doubles
Bliss Hammocks: Mosquito Free, Single, Triple
Hennessy: Oh geez! Expeditions, Explorers, Scout, Deep Jungles, Safaris
    Claytors: Expeditions, No-Net, Jungle
    Speer Hammocks: IIIA and 8.5
    TTTG: Switchback
    Byer of Maine: Moskito Traveler
Random manufacturers are also represented in my mansion wing (), although I doubt I'd be able to name any of them other than the Parrot Bay hammock, which is the most evil and terrible hammock it's ever been my misfortune to touch.

I probably missed a couple somewhere too and I apologize in advance if I left someone's name from my list. But I'm sure you understand, it's hard to keep a mental list on an inventory that takes up half a dozen large Rubbermaid containers.

Wanna talk tarps and quilts too? I probably have almost as many tarps as I do hammocks. Tarps really run the gambit in quality and configuration, so I needz many. Quilts, I have more than I should, but I don't believe in retirement.
