    Howdy! From Wa

    Hey guys, I've been wanting to get off the ground and stumbled on this forum researching some options. I looked around for a bit and decided I'd sign up.

    Little bit about myself, I'm a Marine Corps Vet, and now drive a truck. I grew up camping, hunting, and fishing. I've never tried hammock camping and figured I'd give it a whirl, but I want to research my options before purchasing.

    I've already found some good info on here and can't wait to learn more, and get off that darn bone jarring ground!

    Welcome to HF from NC - I'm a newbie here too and just attended my 1st group hang - met great folks, enjoyed good times and they even allow tents; but you may be able to borrow a setup from someone or test out a few different setups while you are there.
