I'll have to dig my gear out of the rear of the closet. It's been year and a half since I've been out. Always wanted to check out Meramec SP though.

Tentatively I'm scheduled to be in the Rocky Mtns with a friend that weekend...but...if that appears to fall through, Weasel and I might make it out. I'll know more as we get closer.

I'm also getting ready to start planning for a second winter Kansas City area hang again in November or December.

Owl, I hope you make it and if you can, try to get the date for your winter hang as soon as possible. I'd like to try and make it but the early in advance I can work the schedule the better!

I posted a thread for a KC Area winter hang already...tentatively set for the weekend of December 7th. Got a couple of confirmations already.

I would like to come...I am new to the world of hammock camping...I would like to see other setups and meet some folks. I am the only experience I have in the world of hammock camping and what the hell do I know? I read the forums, watched Shug on youtube..and BAM...here I am.

Sorry to say I am going to have to miss out on this one as my schedule has become quite jumbled. I was really looking forward to this one too. Everyone be sure to have a blast and don't hesitate to rub it in when you get back. I would still love to see some pics and hear some stories as to how the trip went.
