I have a few hobbies and go to a few forums and have got to say the people here seem to be the most helpful and least elitist. Nobody cares if you have wiz-bang fancy gear or old beat up stuff and I really think you should be proud of yourselfs.

Totally agree with you Mikeinajeep, lurked here for the longest time when I was debating buying my first hammock. Started asking questions and got nothing but help from everyone. Probably one of the best online communities I've found.
