"I am looking at grannypat's avatar right now and that cat perched behind her head started talking to me. Weird. I never noticed it as an animated avatar before. It said- " You must donate some 6T "toggles with attitude" to the prize drawing." and its eyes started doing that weird thing with spirals and they just seemed to suck me into their depths. It also said to bring a can of sardines. I am not sure what to make of that last request."

LOL! Her mouth is hidden, so most people don't notice it when she talks. I'm glad you heard her and took her advice.

Its not so much the mouth...its those eyes...THOSE EYES! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

    im ok now

I am also going to contribute some homemade mason's line whoopie slings. I made my own amsteel whoopies and then saw CreativeKayt make these. Oh- piece of cake! I need some and look how easy they are to make.

(Y'all know whats coming next right?)

I made the first one, or rather I finally succeeded in making one after 3 hours. Lessons learned: Use a smaller needle, taper the end in a very specific way, bail out and throw it away when you know it has beaten you, and stop when your fingers start to hurt.

Two days later when my finger tips stopped hurting, I tried again and did much better using the lessons learned. Now I can knock one out in about 8 minutes.

It seems quite a few folks use these for tarp lines although they seem light to me. I don't have any zingit or dyneema so I used this.

So I win on principle...I made the ratsin fratsin things...and now I don't think I have a use for them right now.

Honestly, this offering is my own and not being done under duress (meow).

I'll bag them up and toss them in the prize drawing pile when I get there.

They are 30 inches long fully extended and they shorten down to 13 inches when fully snugged up.

I wish I could. I just picked my truck up from the shop and I'm $1000 poorer. We also have a trails committee meeting the same weekend for the Florida Trail so I'm doubly hosed.

I know y'all will have a great time. Somebody win me one of those pillows! And thanks for the offer Deb!

Ed will receive honorable mention for sure. He started it and carried it. We're just faking a hand-off

More stuff for the raffle. Just found a set of backpacking Ti cookware I don't need - almost new. Into the pile she goes.

If I had time I'd whip out a set of skins, but the injector and the fabric are in two different states. Maybe by the time I get to the Grayson Fall Festival hang at end of the month I can knock out a couple sets. Gratuitous Hint!!!!!
