I'd recommend a custom length, over stuffed, 20 degree hammockgear.com UQ.

And keeping with the money is no object theme I'd sell your Hennessy Hex and get a hammockgear.com cuben tarp. This would increase your coverage and cut your tarp weight in half.

Well actually he talked to me for more like 45 minutes but seemed so knowlegable and helpful! I think I'm going with him for both an underquilt and a top quilt. Fingers crossed!

No need for the crossed fingers, you're in professional hands with Adam.

Top notch gear, great customer service. Highly recommended.

If you're concerned about weight, that HH Deep Jungle is a beast of a hammock at 2 lbs. 13 oz. For someone as small as you, I'd think you could get a single layer 1.1 oz hammock and a bugnet and have a total weight of less than a pound, with suspension.

Look at the WB Traveller or the BIAS Weight Weenie Micro. Depending on how minimal you want to go, you can get a bugnet between 3 and 12 ounces. I like full coverage bugnets rather than the bugsocks and 1/2 dejoha-style bugnets, but you can definitely lighten your load on hammock and bugnet.

Wish I had the funds to buy your tarp, but I'm saving for an HG Winter Palace! A mere 8.5 oz. for true 4-season coverage.

I love mine too. I'd rather cut weight elsewhere for the time being, unless someone can recommend something JUST as comfortable and JUST as easy and JUST as bug proof! Bugs LOVE me!!!! I will ditch the rainfly, tho...could save the better part of a pound there alone!
