Hey Rob,
You going Fri or Sat night? Even one day is better than none. Been since March that I was out with the Ohio gang. Hope to get back in the saddle with the August hangs.

Home Run
I've been out of the loop and off the forums for awhile due to a flare, but trying to catch back up. I'm in, if weather permits, and it's not too far of a hike in order to join everyone.
Would like to try an earlier hang too, before Gutter starts back to school. If anyone wants to plan something else along with keeping this one, even on weekdays. Husband and family prefer Gutter and I to camp/hang with others and not by ourselves yet .
Thanks everyone .
Hey Diva, Luke started a thread about getting out mid month at Zaleski too.
David
Thanks David! Can't make that one.
RobBlandon; is it $14 per person to camp there and has there ever been much of a stink when we're camping without horses? This is also a bring your own water right, unless we treat the water thats there? I read that the water is for horse pals only and not human consumption. Just wanting to clarify some things.

Campground at TH is free. New horse camp 1/8 mile down road maybe $14. Their are many places to camp down the trail a short distance as I have said. This is where I assume we would camp.
Their is no water for humans anywhere without treatment but if we hang close to the TH I see no problem with that.
I did not get to this place this weekend as I had hoped. I visited the trail in the early spring and took the photos I posted. It looked like a nice remote place and ideal for hanging. However no McDonalds close.
That's Gutter's first day entering High School....hopefully he'll be up for it. I think it sounds great so far. By the way, I hate McDonalds, so that's just perfect for me
I figured that August 1st, I'd give a nudge to see if we could make a decision on a location and firm up our plans.
Current suggestions:
The Old Stone Church Trail in New Straitsville Oh.
Wilcat Hollow near Glouster, Oh.
Mohican State Forest, near Perryville, Oh.
I think I'm up for trying a place I haven't been; Old Stone Church Trail.
What say the other Ohio hangers?
David
Old Stone Church Trail here too. Sounds relaxing and more time to visit with others.
Mohican keeps me too busy, and we still have things left on our to do list there. If we do Mohican, I'd like to try a different site and area though.
Bump, where is everyone?
