    Avatar Hammock

Watched the movie Avatar again last night and noticed that the hammocks were bridged on the head end and gathered at the foot. Wondering if this has ever been done on a real hammock? Would there be any advantage to this setup?
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.

Would the Knotty mod help stop their tails from falling out?

    +1 olddog!

Hmmm... wonder what the folks over at the "mini-spreader bar" thread would make of this... http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...=mini+spreader

If your head was at a bridge end your feet would be raised, right? Seems like the other direction would be more logical. Eliminates the need for a pillow. I've allways seen a bridge hammock as like sleeping in a coffin, on your back. Intuitively it seems constrictive. What if the head end was bridged, and the foot end was dropped like a foot box? ----______/----
