I am making my first under quilt out of a new British army warm weather sleeping back. I am filling the baffles with down but the inside of the bag is now down proof (bits of feathers popping through). Could I use a length of non proof ripstop nylon to stop this (is this downproof)

Downproof fabric is one that is calendared. It is a heat treatment that is applied to the fabric. So if your fabric says either one of these terms, then you would be good to go.
