Thinking about hitting the woods first week of August.

School is over tomorrow and does not start back until the 20th. I was hoping someone might be headed out hiking in Tennessee or close by the first week or so of August. I don't want to head out alone with the heat this bad right now just in case. Let me know if you want to go or mind if I tag along with another group.

One of the other members also hangs. I was thinking about posting a trip to the Smokies sometime in August, but nothing definite yet. Tomorrow we're heading for South Cumberland Recreation Area. How do you like your Underquilt?

Mat, Don't know if this is too far I am planning to hike Mt Mitchel andBlack mtn crest trail in NC. Starting Aug 4 thru friday. A friend was coming but had to cancel. I hear it is a tough trail but worth it.
