Not even redneck. Ghetto. Clothes pins.

I'm only kidding a little bit...there are worse things. Like duct tape.

If you can buy some netting (tulle can work, its fragile, but it is cheap) and some pins, it would take a night or two to sew one up by hand.

When I made mine, I decided to use tulle for the first version - you know, keep it simple & test out the ideas, and then make the next one the right way . . .

I found that Hobby Lobby has some black tulle (I think it was $1.27/yd) that is tougher than what Wal-Mart keeps. I bought 3-yds and fabbed-up my own version of a bug net. Well, it's a keeper and the tulle looks like it'll hold up fine if I'm not stupid with it. It has an integrated ridge line, and small weights sewn into the edges rather than zippers or velcro.

Still need to get pics of the whole setup --- was scoping out some prime hang spots today, but the severe storms screwed that idea for tonight.

    Duct tape isn't redneck.

    Duct tape is American.

How about rolling it up and hitting it with a stapler? Seems like it'd hold great.

I've used this instead of pinning before with netting. Just rotate the bottom plate so that the ends go out instead of in.
