    Frontline 2012 Special Bundle

I just received my new DD hammock for my birthday present. I ordered the bundle because you save plenty of money this way. Penny at DD Hammock's was awesome helping me change up my order up a bit as I wanted the 4m x 4m tarp instead of the 3m x 3m tarp that comes with the normal package.

I'll post some pics soon at least of the package review shortly.

If you price off each piece you save about $60 buying the bundle.

Okay here are 2 quick pics.

The first is the Backpack that everything came in.

And here is the Second pic with all contents outside

    2012 Frontline Hammock ($95)
    4x4 DD Tarp ($80)
DD Sleeper (Sleeping bag liner) ($26)
    DD Snakeskin ($16)
    DD Whistle ($5)
    Airjet Backpack. ($62)

Purchased seperately would have been $284, buying together got for around $220. Saved around $60. Which is nice since DD includes shipping in their prices.

Also very fast delivery. Got in 3 business days after payment was completed.

Will post a review once I get a chance to sleep in it....

Looking good, congrats, the frontline is the breathable one eh?

I've heard mixed reviews about the hammock and a couple of gripes with the pack but in general most folk were happy.

A lot of people here in the UK seem to start off with a dd and half of them it seems swear by them.

Some people have complained about the stitching being squint and unfinished on the hammocks and tarps.

I bought from dd a couple of months ago and spoke to Penny too, see was very helpful and quick to respond via email I bought 60m at £0.79pm of amsteel and a 4x4 tarp.

The tarp, put simply is bomb proof. I had it out for two nights and it was great, the stitching was fine and everything was as it should be. Because it is polyester as well there was very little stretch in the material and I fell into it on the second night and it pulled my guylines out of the ground on the side I fell into, no damage to the tarp.

The only negatives for me is bulk, weight and ease to pack. I think it weighs around 1.2kg (2.6lb) (correct me if I'm wrong) so is very heavy and it packs quite big as well. The main piece of advice I can give is to fold it before putting it back into the stuff sack otherwise it is near impossible to get it in (for me anyway).

Hope everything is good with your gear and again, congrats!

Look forward to your review. Also, if you get the opportunity, a few thoughts on the pack it comes with would be great.
