    Hello from Florida

    Hello. I'm a general outdoors type. Into bushcraft, hunting, hiking too. I spend most of my time in Ocala National Forest. I got into hammocks because I hate bugs and stayed with them because it's the best night sleep I've ever had! I know the basics and out of the box setups, but I'm looking forward to learning from all of you. Thanks!

    Welcome aboard from Lakeland. Besides the 3rd Annual Hang we will also be having some fall and spring group hangs.
    Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.

    In addition to the 3rd Annual Hang that SamD linked below, there's also a group hang coming up at Ichetucknee Springs in Fort White, over the weekend of 8/10-13. I'll be there over the nights of 8/12 & 13 (Sunday-Tuesday), but it's looking like some folks will show up on Friday and Saturday. If you want to get a look at everyone's set-ups, I'm sure that they'd be willing to show 'em off.
