    Lightbulb Hammock Office Chair

I am just sitting in my crappy non-hammock office chair thinking to myself "Self, wouldn't it be nice if there was a hammock office chair?" I answered "Yes, that would be nice".

Since I am not creative I am putting out a challenge to all members to design a hammock styled office chair that I can use at work.

I dare you to design one!

That seems like a good idea...but my productivity at work would take a huge dive if I got to sit in a hammock all day!

I did a video chat with Paul from AHE months ago and he was sitting in a hammock at his computer. "Brilliant!" I thought to myself. Having a lounger and a chair all-in-one is hard to beat. Plus the afternoon nap after the Lunch Coma would be NICE.

For the office, I was thinking of something smaller. In fact, "Butts in a Sling" was the first thing that came to mind.

Actually, I'm not really interested unless the hammock is full size. A chair-size hammock doesn't really seem that cozy, more like a large g-string.

    Okay, back to work.

Being the son of an engineer, I tend to get lots of concepts for things - and looking at these big stands makes me think there's a better way if you wanted an office chair that was hammock-like.

But then, it would end up more of a "butts in a sling" as dejoha described. Essentially, it'd be a slightly oversized chair with fabric slung between curved side supports. And it doesn't seem very comfortable the way I have it in my noggin.

    But where there's a will...

Depends on the size of the office and the use of a cordless key board and roller-ball mouse. I could easily do on but then I would get caught napping on the job and thats just a no no in my book.
