I'm just on the other side of Youngstown from you. If I can help in any way, by all means, drop me a line!
If - if he stood! Enough of ifs!
He knew a path that wanted walking
He knew a spring that wanted drinking
A thought that wanted further thinking.
A love that wanted re-renewing

Welcome brother. You live about 45 mins maybe an hour from me. I can promise you two things on this forum. You will become a hammock nut and get so much info you wont know what to do with it. There isnt another forum on the net where everyone gets along so well and are so open.
Welcome to the forums from Dayton. Are yo close to Nelson Ledges? Been wantin to check that out.

Relatively speaking. nelson ledges is a very intersting area (geologically speaking) there is a privately owned park just to the south which has camping and swimming. I have never camped there, but the swimming is excellent. at one time the campground was a sandstone quarry. while mining it out the workers hit a spring and filled up the quarry with water. there is a "cliff" to dive off of. www.nlqp.com
also in the area (about 20 miles north) is Thompson ledge park. this is a township park with a huge sandstone cliff that makes for a nice day hike. as far as I know there is no legal camping here atm. http://www.thompsonohio.org/TWP/depa...park/index.htm
(not a wealth of information).
Welcome to HF from Mass.
I'm down here in N. Portage county...Windham Twp. Used to deliver propane all over the area where you live.
