Question Dealing with doors on the 4-S cuben tarp

I have a question about the doors on the 4 season tarp. What is the easiest way to secure the doors when not in use? I have this vision of rollling them up and tieing them to the tarp. I have never dealt with a tarp with doors before; both of my pervious tarps have been rectangular and/or cat cut.

Any experiences are welcome. Pics always a plus.

I tuck them both (on same side) to the inside of the tarp and clip the lines to each other. If you do this to both sides, your tarp will look like a hex tarp.

I just stake the door section down or tie it off to a tree even when in the porch mode. That way if it rains it funnels it off to the side

Shock cord....a couple feet long.....what ever you think.is good for staking. In the middle if the shock cord tie a small loop. On the end tie another loop with a mitten hook, leave room in this loop for stakes or wrapping and sapling and securing with a stick. Now cut the thumb release off the mitten hook. File this edge round/smooth. Now in my opinion gives you options galore.

Stake it normal to the ground.

Save stakes and just clip the mitten hook to the opposing d ring (this is nice for warmer weather. It leaves a gap on the ends for venting but still keeps you dry)

Fold doors in and clip mitten hook to the loop in the middle....this should give a nice taught management of doors in "hex mode" (i also.like this when packing up the tarp....no doors flapping. Just play with the lengths/tension/placement of middle loop so it doesnt pull too hard.)

Wrap shock cord around sapling bringing shock cordback through loop and securing with a stick.

Lets you enter and exit with some ease when doors are closed.

    Just my take on it.

Would you post a photo or two? Close up of the clip and also the set up. Sounds very interesting.

Thanks for the responses thus far. Can anyone add their experience with this tarp with Tarp Skins? I have some Mountain Goat skins on my old tarp, but these are probably too large for the cuben...

    All thoughts welcome.
