I replaced the rope and biners with whoopies and lightweight biners. Then, after reading the thread, I added the mini-spreader bar and that really makes the DN incredibly comfortable. I had been sleeping in my DN for a month or two already and was very happy with it but the mini-spreader bar made the "sweet spot" where it is flat and comfortable much bigger. I highly recommend it, here is the link to the thread if you are interested...

Replaced stock suspension, removed stock stuff sack and replaced it with a bishop bag so I can deploy the hammock without getting it dirty. I'm gonna add a SRL soon, haven't decided if I wanna make my own or purchase one pre-made.

I ordered a DN today but my order got changed to the DN deluxe. I may cut down the sides as it is such a wide hammock. I ordered 50 ft of amsteel from Redden Marine for making whoopie slings and ridgeline. Current plan is to replace rope/'biners with whoopie slings, add structural ridgeline, new straps with dutch clips and copy that nice bishop bag mod I saw around here somewhere. If and when I get some of these done I'll probably post a thread with pics.
