CFI - If you're flying your own rig KJYO is right next door, and the fees are much more affordable than IAD. Happy to get you the gouge for the field here if you need it - nice level runway with ILS/GPS and all services.

You can't have everything,
Where would you put it all?
New posting for NOBO overnight hike before MAHHA. Starts Thursday at Harpers Ferry. 6 miles first day. Easy 4 miles into Gathland on Friday. Post your name if you'd like to be included. Thursday start time may vary depending on who is hiking. Right now it's 9:30 am. Maybe earlier or later. But not by much.
Go here for more hike details and questions for this particular outing.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
I am marking this on my calendar.....Count me in! I am new to hammocks so I am excited to see a bunch of other setups!!
Glad you can come! There is no better place to see gear than a hang.

My hubby doesn't have a hammock (he's not sure it's for him) so we'll be bringing a tent as well. Hopefully we can check out other hammock setups and get him addicted too!!
One of my favorite parts! The mechanics are what grab me. Could be some cool hardware, fancy knots or cord work, whoopies, ucr,s, then Dutch usually whils out some new fangled thing and makes a whole new brainstorms. Seen some wild stuff. Only one of many great parts to this pastime.
Sadly my other October Annual event has been scheduled for the same weekend so I must bow out.
I am going to make sure I have time to make the Spring hang.
