about that hammock, i was trying to figure out what i am seeing in the picture. it's apparently an optical illusion or just the way they hung it for the picture, but it looks like the lines at the end of the hammock are angling down.
and does that hammock have a built in spreader bar? ...tim
My guess is that they are angled down just for the photo.

I think it has a built in channel for a spreader bar but i cannot be sure. The GI m-65 does have a provision for inserting poles on the side to make the hammock into a stretcher.

I just bought a camo hammock yesterday and will be taking it into Oklahoma tonight to spend the weekend. Preliminary set-up last night wasn't too bad, and it was very comfortable once I got into it. There was a bit of a learning curve since all my other hammock experience is with a yard hammock that I picked up in Mexico a few years ago. I've heard a lot about hammock camping and have been wanting to try it. When I came across this hammock for $49.00 it was too good a deal to pass up. If I like it as much as I think I will, I'll start saving up to get one of the lighter hammocks.
I love flavored tea -- as long as the flavor is "Really Strong Coffee"!

Welcome to the site. If that particular hammock is not quite comfy enough for some reason, you should still look at other hammocks. Have a great hang.
