    The quilt comparison chart shows the stats.

    The Old Rag Mtn has 2 inch baffles vs 3 inch baffles for the Rocky Mtn Sniveler.

    The RM No Sniveler has a head hole, the Old Rag doesn't. Francis Tapon used a RMNS on a Cont Divide Trail Yo-Yo, along with a JRB hood.

    I use my Katahdin as a 3/4 peapod/top quilt, held in place with 1/8 shock cord.



    Seen here combined with FF rock wren up top[ and JRB ORM + RMS as underquilts ... used this system below -40 F for a week. I use the foot end draw cord to form a spiral cone to seal out air drafts with a mini biner. Despite the rediculous layers of my system, the whole thing remained breathable and I had no condensation issues between any of the quilts.
