Whoooo Hooooo. Got home from work and what do I find by my door? My first real hammock. My Blackbird is here! Going to be enjoying myself tomorrow. What I can't get over is how light it is compared to my tent. Yep, it's gonna be a good weekend.

I've spent the day putting up and taking down my new hammock a few times to get used to it so I don't look so lost the first time I do it for real. The first thing that got me was how easy it is. Less that 5 minutes the first time. How easy can it get. I laid out in it for about 30 min and could believe how comfortable it actually is. I know, that's all everyone says but until you actually experience it you just don't know. Beats the heck out of laying on the ground any time.
