Per the website and a call to the Park Service we can leave are vehicles on the Arnoldstown Rd lot right off of Gapland Rd. Entrance. If I recall you just bare right at the top of the hill before the Memorial Arch. It has several (10) spots and being off season we should have room for us. I was encouraged to take my valubles etc.

The same lot we used last year but this year is more days. Good to check with those that know.
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.
I hate to post this but I have to bail on the prehike as of now....having some health issues. Sorry, really wish I could go with yuns.
may try to pull it off at last minute but not looking good. stay tuned.

I want to see all as planned for the NOBO hike.
So I am still doing the NOBO.
We will still see mary at 9am at Gathland for the shuttle on Monday.
Then shuttle to US522 outside of Front Royal across from the Lake to start.
I will PM two tents on some other concerns that he had, but all is good and no worries-Trust me!!!
Smaller group means less wear and tear on the trail.
The only negative I see is that TwoTall was gonna carry all my gear so that I could scout out ahead of the trail for herds of man eating squirrels. Oh well, just have to re- adjust my pack weight!!
All is good, life is good and always remember:

No way!!! Life happens and all is good!!!
I figured something out a long time ago. The future is unpredictable.
Domino effects keep us on our toes!!
Otherwise life in general would be kind of boring don't you think?
And I hate to be bored.
Heinrich Heine once said:
"I fell asleep reading a dull book and dreamed I kept on reading, so I awoke from sheer boredom."
