I have both the hilleberg (not the ul) and a wbbb superfly.
Both work great for hammocking. But the superfly packs smaller, is lighter and provide better coverage then the hilleberg.
When I first recived the superfly I was a little disappointed with the compact size , believing the superfly would surely give less coverage than the hilleberg... Until I took it out of the bag.
This year I have only been using the superfly. Mostly because I'm still tweaking in the setup. But if I had only the hilleberg available it would not limit me or lessen the experience.
Update. I have the xp10 version. It is somewhat heavier, but likely more durable. Guesstimate only by the feel of the fabrics.

Just from the site, it appears the 11.5' x 9.5' would give decent coverage on most hammocks, and if that's what you got, then fine. You're set!
However @ 1.9 lbs it's a bit heavy, for UL gear. As for the prices, you can get more for less and the weight savings could be 1/2 or better, in doing so.

Hilleberg XP is siliconized polyester, it weights more, but does not stretch when wet. And of course it will lose Siliconized nylon in weight and backability.
One should compare Superfly to Hilleberg UL tarp made of Kerlon 2000 which is SilNylon also. And when weighting tarp one must take notice that Hilleberg tarps have got a quite hefty and long guylines installed. Superfly weight covers only the tarp.
I have owned and used Suprefly, it is great, but so is Hilleberg.
One thing still to take notice of is that Hilleberg tarp can be used in many different configurations, Superfly can be only be hanged in one way.
Mmmmmm now I have to think harder??????

I have to agree with above. I have used Hilleberg products for years in the deep cold as well as many others have and feel they are top notch gear.No need to over think it. Both are great tarps and will perform.

As far as the added weight I think it is worth it for the quality & durablite.
Weight savings serves no purpose when it fails and to me falure is not an option.
