5 days hanging in along the Chelan Ridge (North Cascades)

Did a 5 day trip using my Trek Light a week or so ago. Here are a couple of pics of some of my hangs:

Only had to go to ground once, which I felt was good for being mostly above 6000 feet at camp. It was at nearly 7000 feet in a meadow with only small trees available. I was hiking with two other folks who had a tent and wanted to stay in the general vicinity. One night on my old Ridgerest certainly brought home to me the improvement in comfort level in my hammock!

I wrote a more extensive trip report here and have more pics here if you care to look.

Awesome pics - especially the one with the tent and hammock next to the lake. Looks like a great time.

Looks like a great trip, Seracer! Last year we hung in the Olympics for a week. It was pretty challenging finding small enough trees close enough together at the designated camp grounds we used. We stayed at the nice flat ground areas because we had tenters with us, but sometimes that was not the best choice tree wise. I'm glad to see the Cascades, at least at lower elevations up to 6000 ft, provide plenty of hang opportunities also.
