    Claytor in the Rainforest

I was sort of worried about dampness, but as always my Claytor shined.

Cool location, but couldn't you find any large trees to hang from?

Thanks for the comments guys. It's the Willamette National Forrest about 80 miles from Eugene OR. near the Cougar Reservoir.

Yes..... It rained most of the time but light with a few heavier showers not lasting long enough to kill the fire. These trees act like giant umbrellas. It was about 55f at night. My buddy had a Wally pad in my loaner JH and had no complaints, I was perfect with a modded PL for a quilt and a light bag used as a top quilt.

There are miles of lava fields in the area also.
1/2 the state of Oregon is public land. My new back yard! (:

Absolutely and an awesome place! Reminds me a bit of Joyce Kilmer here in western NC. Not many places with that kind of cool and creative rainforest feeling left in the world.

    Thanks for the pics!

Btw, I wonder what the surcharge on a tree-strap for that last pic would be? lol
