I have some items I'd like to sell or trade at Fairfield
    1. Leigh's summer weight UQ
    2. Packa - size XL
    3. Biolite stove

so I think it would be nice if the environment there would tolerate some friendly commerce.

Really? That can't be all of the new gear since last time. Just sayin...

The little car was cool, but this will get you where you really want to go. I like it!

Yo Old Gringo! Can you cut another Swedish Candle? I don't remember doing one last year, but we did on the 2nd year, and it was incredible. I don't have a chainsaw or else I'd get it done! Can't wait to see everyone, it's been a long year on the road and I'm ready for a vacation. Someone bring an acoustic guitar!! I'll be bringing a Djembe to play around with! Only a few short weeks away peeps!! Whoop!!

I think that a flea market style gear swap or sale would be fun.
It was good to meet you as well, glad the tree didn't kill you.

What if we had a table or ground cloth with a tarp over it somewhere. People could bring items that they want to trade with no strings attached and set them out. Anyone could go to it, see something he/she wants and take it as long as it's replaced with something of value. At the end of the day there would be the same number of items as started but they would potentially be quite different than the first person put out.

Of course that's just the free items/unsupervised trade ideas. In addition, folks interested in trading or selling items would be encouraged to do so as well, maybe up by the main group campfire area.

I don't care what the others said about how you talked, I understood the accent and think you're all right. Looking forward to seeing you again.

Sounds good! I'll have some items as well. Gregory Whitney Pack, some random older packs suited for scouts starting out, maybe a tent or tarp, and some small items.

I think ETH was going to cut one, but I'm not sure if he burned up too many saws cutting name tag blanks. As for music, Caveman and Skyclad might be talked into bringing guitars. Hmm, maybe I need to bring a spare Djembe for the "for sale" area.

I will have my guitar....though I'm more of an old metal head. I'm not sure that I've ever played with a Djembe!

    music under the stars

I will definitely bring a guitar, and would be pleased to jam with anybody who brings an instrument. Bring your fiddles, mandolins, kazoos, trombones, djembes and most especially your singing voice! Dancing is encouraged.
