Anyone else bringing a Turtledog Stand? I can bring mine to demo, if people are interested. We've also got a hammock sock, the HH supershelter, and some Insultex underquilts (as well as our normal ones) if people want to see how those work. And of course, I'll show off my underquilt rigging clips that I made for my Dangerbird -- took me down to 38° this last weekend!

I'll be bringing my new "to me" micro! It should be here today or tomorrow....I'm pretty excited about that.

I'll also bring some of my other usual goodies (MSR mini works, jetboil sol, ???)

I think that a stand would be a very good idea for you.....No trees needed that way

Now everybody knows the old saying... If you don't like the weather, wait a minute and it'll change. Fall weather down here is especially unpredictable.

    But, here's a preliminary long-range forecast.

    Accuweather forecast for Fairfield Texas

Will we have our first hang in the rain? How's y'alls tarps?

Of course, it's a bunch of hammock folks, so all we do is laugh and burrow deeper into the covers and listen to the rain on our tarps.... and pity those poor ground dwellers.

Sorry, the rain in the forecast is probably my fault, it *always* rains when I camp . I guess I'll get a chance to see how well my new Superfly works.

Like you say though, we might see a totally different forecast in the picture by next week. The temps sound pretty nice.

Somehow, I thing the Spaceweaseal Paradox would take over and the stand would fall on its side.

But he'd jump out just in time.
