When I cut wood especially for the drum, I go for 12", but more often than not, I make do with whatever I have cut for the woodstove. 16" will be fine.

Question for the group. I'm having difficulty figuring out what to cook for the group meal. I'm thinking either a Bacon Bomb.... or Bacon and cheddar hot chicken wings. Thought.... suggestions?

Ooh, I'm torn....hot wings sounds good...but I don't want to spend most of the hang headed off for the consequences.

I'm in too
Thanks for the invite...
Really looking forward to it. Throkda has already made our reservations and we're going to scout out the area because even though I already know most stuff down there, it'd still be a good idea to go look before I have a bunch of people with me. :-)
Question for anybody who is interested in the nature hike. I know wild foods... grew up harvesting all kinds of things. Would there be interest if I could get my hands on a bunch of the stuff I'll be pointing out and have a sampling of the finished product of what you can do with it. Nothing fancy... just stuff like persimmon bread, sumac tea, etc...
