    Phoenix coverage?

I WANT a Phoenix badly and was wondering how the coverage is on and individual at 6ft tall?

codya95 I have a Phoenix , I am not six foot but 5'-10" If it helps my shoulders are covered and the bottom of the quilt comes to about my calf area. You can adjust very easy if you want up or down. I would very much recommend the Phoenix ! Good luck.

Shoulders to mid calf. I'm 5'11".

I find the new suspension makes the quilt feel a lot more true to length as they don't bunch up. My UQ feels 6-8" longer with the new setup and I've been able to shorten my foot pad a heap

There, It's out. I said it, Ahh I feel better now

I am 6'2" and find the coverage more than adequate. I only use a small sitpad for my feet. I don't think I've ever heard or read anything bad about the phoenix. I say go for it.

It's a confidence thing, you just need a night out with a partial lengh quilt to trust how well it works. The next step will be letting go of your big sleeping bag in favor of a smaller top quilt.

    You won't be disappointed.

Has any one gotten a Phoenix that wasn't exactly 52" long?

Most of the Phoenix underquilts out there should be 52" long. There are a number of people that have requested custom dimensions. I myself actually use a 45" wide by 46" long Phoenix and I am 6'1". YMMV but I find I can get away with a little less coverage on my legs because my little piece of Ridgerest that I use for my backpack suspension is more than enough coverage for the lower part of my legs. Unless I am testing gear, I use the Phoenix through most of winter months (down into the teens).
