    The vikings are here.......again!

    Hallo you guys….
Just want to report in from Denmark. I have to say this is at great resource gathering place. Made my life a great deal easier.

Hammock camping is not at big thing I Denmark, but when I read on the bigger outdoorsforums over here I see curiosity growing, and I am doing all I can to convert people.

Right now I have a WBBB 1.1 DL with BMJ setup and a DD Traveler with a exped tarp. For both I use Pads. Sure to be trying out UQ´s but there are not that much to pick from. Only place her In the EU I from UKHammocks.

Odd enough, I like the DD the most

It took me 2 year before I dared to jump in to hammocks, but I have not regreaded. Before it was manly tent due to my many trips to northern Norway and Sweden, but after the kids arrived there is no more time for these 14 days trips any more. I than took I to the local woods with a tarp. It was there the idea to look in to hammocking began, and thank God for that!

Locking forward to keeping enjoying this forum and the warm humor you guys have.

    Greating from DK

    Hej! från en annan viking!

I've got almost an identical set-up, except my uq comes from DD as ewll - a snugpak. Cheap, bought it just to try and it's a LOT better than the pad. Well, IMnsHO at least.

Welcome to the forums from sunny (well cloudy today) Florida!

There are several others here from Denmark. Maybe you will have the chance to hook up and hang out!

Welcome form Georgia. If the scenery is as good where you are as it seems to be in all the other posts from Denmark, then I can certainly understand someone wanting to get out into it, and in a hammock is a great way to do that..Perhaps a big "hang" can be arranged over there and some of us hangers from the U.S. can visit and enjoy it with you. Well wishes with your camping.
