I need to consult the wife, but pencil me in. I like the fact that it is a short drive from Winter Haven.
Is anyone going to bring a bridge (Chrysalis, Jacks, etc.)? I'm really wanting to try one out be fore I spend the $$$.
T-stain had a bridge last spring. Haven't heard yet if he will make it and not sure just what it was. Maybe he'll join us on this one.

I'm in. Looking forward to it.
with two m's, like "hammock."
I'll be there. Looking forward to some more "ridge" walking.
I do not know if this is the proper way to go about this but hear goes.... on the hang at WIW is walking in the only way to get there?? I have a woods capable gas golf cart, high ground clearance and big mud slingers. I am not able to walk that kind of distance especially packing gear thanks sod-buster
Sod-buster, not sure about the vehicle, will probably need to check with samsara on that. But if we can meet at the trailhead I can load some or most of your gear on my Sherpa to get you back in to the camp if you can walk a couple of miles to the camp. samsara will probably be along shortly and be able to fill us in on the forest regs.

Not sure if I will make it as I am hoping to do the St. Marks NWR section of the FT that weekend but I will keep this in mind if that doesn't work out.
Thanks,

Sorry, no motorized vehicles but bicycles, horses, and olddogs/sherpas are ok
If you have a gps and are savvy enough to load external routes onto your gps then I can show you a shorter way in but you will be on your own if you have trouble navigating. Just let me know and we'll see what we can do.
