We had a Camporee and a Cub Scout family campout planned for the same weekend. At the last minute my oldest took sick and could not go to the Camporee with the troop (all hangers). Well that freed up my oldest sons hammock for my Tiger cub to use.
So I set my WBBB and his HH Exp so that our heads were near each other and then tried to figure out how we were going to stay warm. He got the double bubble and I used my thermarest stuffed in a fleece sleeping bag. With cold weather sleeping bags as top quilts, we were toasty warm!
He slept the whole night without making a peep. Unfortunately, he should have gotten up for a potty break. Thankfully, the sleeping bag and double bubble kept the hammock dry.
He asked me on the ride home when he was going to get his hammock. I guess my whoopie slings are going to have to wait a little longer

I had my tent with us in case we had a problem with him sleeping in the hammock. It some how got a rip in it, so into the dumpster it went. I bought it 20 years ago, and it has served me well. RIP old friend
