Took a stab at making my own bishop bag yesterday. It took a bit of time(mostly since I'm a thread injector newb) but turned out well I think. I already had a bag from Paul at AHE so I copied that style pretty closely. I used a button hole to pass the suspension through and have two pockets. I put the pockets together first, and sewed that onto the bag before I sewed the bag proper. One change from Paul's design, is that the top pocket flap has triangle corners so that they don't flip up as much. I find that it's easier to grab and open as well.
