Any more? Poof is carrying in a surprise for them.
You mean you and I do not qualify as a youngster anymore?
I guess you do since Poof's pack is always looks a little bigger than yours

Looking about perfect, but remember the feet are going to get wet on this trip even without rain

So, my Noobs from Virginia bailed because one had a work obligation and the other didn't to want to make the trek alone. I guess I don't need that extra tarp Mark. Thanks though!

I will be in before dark (hopefully) on Thursday. I have a 10" Dutch oven we can use on base camp night if there aren't too many of us. How many on Thursday? Any menu suggestions?
Afoot and light-hearted, I take to the open road,
Healthy, free, the world before me,
The long brown path before me, leading wherever I choose.

way too early to check out the forecast esp when we know it will change many times between now and then

Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.

"Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves. Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?"

I think Spamburgler has taken care of the permits...I know Roche did last year Only time will tell who was the best trip leader/organizer but a healthy rivalry never hurts.
