I'll call it east, but there really isnt a west. You either continue on slave falls loop or take laurel fork. The campsite is at the yellow cliff/laurel fork creek intersection. Actually, for the late arrivals they might take yellow cliff to shave some miles and time. Its a horse trail though, and I'd prefer the scenic route.

Well, I made it to Tennessee!
Looks like this will be a new low temp for me. Glad to see the sunny days are still predicted! See ya tomorrow.

Welcome Emcee to the sacred land of the Chickamuga, Cherokee , Muscogee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Shawnee, Yuchi, and Seneca.
Tennessee is almost 3 states in one. You're headed almost to the middle state and the plateaus and river formations there.
You'll be walking in famous footsteps going back in the nations for thousands of years.
    Looking forward to meeting you.

If you are arriving late you should probably park at sawmill. It is about halfway through the first days hike, while the twin arches is the beginning

I was looking at doing the same and taking the Slave Falls cutover to shorten Friday's route. I'm hoping to be on the trail by 13:00 CST.
