Air is nothing new to me...

... but I'm new to HF!

I've been hanging in my HH EXP since 2009, doing solo outings and occasional outings with my 3 cuñados in warm weather. I've been thinking about extending my reach to cold weather hanging and, like a lot of people, I found a treasure trove of piney woods goodness in Shug's videos (well done sir. You are a true connoisseur of the hanging arts and well versed in the highest expression of culinary aspiration: BBQ.)

My home base is in Northern Virginia and I often trek alone in the Shenandoah National Park, GW National Forest, and along the AT. I'm always up for company, but since I hike mostly mid-week my buddies are all working.

Perhaps I'll meet a few crazy hangers here. I'm looking forward to learning how y'alls get things done as well as sharing what works for me.

Oh, I'm no Federale, just a worker bee. I've been daydreaming lately about getting an AR Drone to shoot some videos while hiking... wouldn't that be cool?
