Just got off the phone with Stick. If everyone shows up we will have over 60 people.(not everyone is from here. 58 here)
So, we were thinking of having 2nd and 3rd place winners get something. Details to come later.

I have to work on Sunday, so I'll be hiking in Friday from Batsto and hiking back out Saturday

I think this is great! Unfortunately I have a previous engagement. For those of us who cannot attend, will there be photos of this event? I am looking forward to the next one.
Hope you all have a great time.
I will be snowshoeing in Vermont
Here is the sheet for those who are entering the 3rd Annual Winter Hang Coup de grāce de grub.

We will assign a number at the hang. I don't expect every Ingredient listed, if you use a bunch of spices, you can just put spices. It's mainly to make sure if someone has an allergy to something, or they don't eat something due to religious beliefs, that they don't eat it. Also saves you from having to stand there answering questions about what's in it.
I will have extras on hand there, but I'm only going to be bringing like 10-20 with me.

I found out my plans from Snowshoeing in Vermont have been pushed up another week.
I need more info about this hang as it will be my first. As a noob I need more info. Do I need to register with the state forest and is there a fee? I have a friend who may be interested in going too. Please let me know ASAP so I can get things ready. This will be my first cold weather hang.
Thanks!
Somebody usually collects the fees and registers us with the Batsto office. It's $3 per person for in-staters, and I think $5 for out-of-staters.
We pick up a permit for the weekend so you don't have to stop at the ranger station. We will collect money($3 a night) from everyone and kayak karl takes it over to them on sunday.
This is a drive in location so bring extra everything if you are not sure if your setup will keep you warm.
