Myself, Two Tents and his 4 legged hiker buddy Ben ( AKA-- Trasher) will be arriving Friday afternoon!!!
Can't wait--Bring on the cold, wind, snow, whatever--I got a Clark that I can zip the weather shield around me. I hope it works out, as this is my first winter hang with it. Between my Clark Z-Liner and my Arrowhead equipment Lost River under quilt and Storm Crows top quilt Burrow--I should be ok. If not, it will be a learning experience--which is why I love hanging with youns all--cause this central Pa. Hillbilly learns something new on every hang!!!

    Just a few things:

    1. Dinner Saturday night will be starting at 6pm. (If you are making something, make sure it will be done around this time. Don't want you to cook all day and not have anyone try it because they are full)

    2. Please find Kayak Karl once settled, so you can settle up for the park fees. (He looks like Santa )

    3. Alcohol is not allowed in state parks...

    4. We may be crowded, so you may have to share a tree. Please be a nice neighbor.

    5. We gladly accept donations for the raffle.

    6. Is it Friday yet?

Unfortunately, most of my winter camping clothes are in storage...several states away...so I am going to have to miss this one.

Hope the rest of you have a great time and I look forward to seeing each of you at one of the warmer hangs in the Spring, Summer, and early Fall.

P.S. Please take lots of pictures so that us unhappy home bodies can get a glimpse of the fun we missed.
oh darnnit Paul!! we'll have to catch you at the spring hang! we'll take lots of pics for you

Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend. I plan on showing up Thursday night like I have the last few years. (I'll get my own permit stuff squared away for the extra night)

If anyone is new to the area feel free to pm me for my cell phone number and I'll do my best to get you to camp if you get turned around.

Do each campsites have separate fire pits so we can do our cooking over a fire near our hang area? Or is there a designated area for open fire?
