    Forums features....

Help me out here. I think there must be a way to to do this, but I haven't the faintest idea how it works. When I click on the "new posts" navigation bar I get a list of new posts in all threads. That's as far as I have been able to figure this out. I can't seem to find a way to selectively eliminate threads that do not have an interest for me without opening them or keeping them cluttering up the listing until I finally get tired of seeing them there and click to mark all threads as read. Now I know deep in my crummy little heart there must be a way of not bringing those threads into the list. I'm talking about hangs that are in a part of the country that I will not be able to attend even if I had the money to get there. I'm talking about the intricacies of hanging a Clark, which I will probably never own if for no other reason than the expense. Plus the fact I probably couldn't get out of it. And yeah... I'm talking about threads that don't seem quite proper to me for a family friendly forum.

But really I'm talking about being able to tailor the forums to my interests and intrigues. So help me out here. How do I do that?
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

I don't think there is a way. When I click new posts I look to the topic and the section it is posted in. if for example it is posted in the "Clark" section I may not read it.

So perhaps you could do the same. look at the topic and look at the section and if it is of no interest, then don't open it.

Not sure if this helps though.

I usually just read the threads that are of interest to me then when I am done I click on "mark all forums read" to clear the list.

I do the exact same thing, on about 10 forums I frequent. I logon. Click "new threads". That shows new threads since my last logon. I browse thru the topics, reading what I want, posting, etc. When done, I click "mark all read". And logoff. If you suddenly decide there was a topic that you meant to read, then log back on, and do the "today's post" tool bar.
