    DRIDUCKS Poncho Mod - Instructions?

I just picked up from JRB the DRIDUCKS Poncho with mod to use as weather protection (and to keep skeeters away!). Anyway it comes with omnitape applied at several points. My question relates to the use of the poncho with the JRB BMBH (delux). Is there any modification I need to make to the JRB BMBH? Do I need to apply omnitape to the hammock in some fashion? Is there a tutorial /guide / video on how to set this up?

    A real NOOB...

    VA Triker,

The omni tape is for those that want to form a foot box and use it over a TQ in a hammock or on the ground.

To use it as a UQ or Weather Shield attach it over a UQ by the same suspension or attach it by itself with a JRB UQ suspension system. There were instructions with the DDP and Weather Shield Mod.

No modifications to any hammock are necessary.

Please give us a call if you need further assistance.

    Pan

Added... We Just posted the instructions for use of the JRB Weather Shield modified DDP on our web site.

    Hey Pan,

Have you used the poncho as topquilt cover? If so, how much warmth do you find it adds?

    thanks,
    Chewy

Well, I got mine and, yes, instructions are included. Included, but not very helpful. It refers to instructions on one of their UQs and uses terms that aren't defined or either require a level of perceptiveness that I do not possess (entirely possible). I'm used to putting things together from instructions translated from chinese with a beta version of Bing, but I can't figure it out.

I also broke one of my JRB little double carabiners "in the same manner as hanging a quilt". @#$@#!
