Is it at all possible to obtain an easement on the adjacent land to connect to the Cumberland trail? Although 2 miles is a whole lot of easement hehe. Just thought it would be really cool to connect to that

Also, if you are doing this for cash flow it might not be wise to limit your market to hammocks only...

But of course, I support the idea. Good luck buddy

I have ideas of building a (private or public) primitive hammock only campground (H.O.C.) and a 1 mile trail and would like any comment or suggestions ya'll might have. I very much believe in personal freedoms and that would be exercised on this property. The Cumberland trail will be coming within 2 miles of this property, we also have many other trails in the area.We have many outdoor things to do in this area as well.

The 1st pic shows the main fire spot, most of the clearing for this area is done private campgrounds manitoba, now we are workin our way around the creek. The second pic is the creek at its lowest.
I stayed at Country Bumpkins over Memorial Day weekend with my kids. At that time (still non-peak season) it was only about $4 more per night than Lafayette, and it's very convenient to route 93. Right in Lincoln off exit 33. Not much there in the way of things to do inside the campground for kids, but would be a decent launching point for a hiking weekend.
