If you're considering the slap straps, you're obviously not obsessing over weight. In addition to the Atlas straps (which are just the polyester version of the slap straps) you can also consider the Kammock version called Python straps. I bought mine before the Atlas straps came out, and would buy them again. It sort of ticked me off that the Atlas straps took so long to come out despite the numerous reviews that mentioned the stretch...the Python straps come out, and voila...out come the Atlas straps...
I'm sure you'll be happy with either, and they're the same price...I love mine.

I'll also echo all of the recommendations for the polyester webbing with either a pair of descending rings or cinch buckles. Less expensive and probably a little lighter than the daisy chain system with carabiners. I have all three systems and use the webbing and cinch buckles most often. Less slippage without having to worry about putting in a half hitch (I put in a half hitch anyway unless I forget...belt and suspenders guy)
